Some of you know I attend a very small church — a church so small that its survival presently depends on everybody doing what they can to keep the doors open and ministry happening every week. While we are between pastors, I’ve been able to contribute some of my Old Testament expertise in Sunday morning sermons.

During Lent, I’ll be bringing five messages on Israel’s holy times — days and times in the Old Testament that God appointed for his people to remember what he had done for them and what it meant to be his people. While their feasts and fasts are not ours today, we can still learn much from studying them.

The discipline of keeping holy time shapes us into people who are responsive to God in the present, attuned to his work and his ways among us.

Holy time is for all of God’s people–Old Testament and New. The discipline of keeping holy time shapes us into people who are responsive to God in the present, attuned to his work and his ways among us.

If you’re interested in following along with this series, you can find the sermons on my YouTube channel each week from now through the end of March.

P.S. We had some camera trouble this week, so some of the video is intermittent, but the audio should be fine from start to finish.
